When I saw Toni publish the Grandpa Sweater Vest, something in me said "that's the one, I'm doing it and I'm doing the whole thing until it's done." I really don't know what came over me but I felt so sure of myself and enjoyed the process immensely. Every evening, I looked forward to pouring a cup of tea and picking up my project, seeing it come together stitch by stitch.⁠

The Grandpa Sweater Vest pattern will need to be purchased separately from the TL Yarn Crafts website here or on Ravelry here.

Note (PLEASE READ): I modified this pattern to accommodate our Classic Worsted base yarn by using a J/10 6mm crochet hook and working 8 rounds per granny square to meet gauge. I also knit the ribbing by picking up the neckline, hemline, and armholes, working in 1x1 rib and working Center Double Decreases at the center neckline and the bottom corners of the armholes.
