picking accessory colors

When it comes to colors on a daily basis - I'm definitely a neutral gal. I love my blacks, tans, and creams for clothes. I just find it so much easier on myself to be able to go into my closet and put an outfit together quickly and not trying to piece things together - because all of my neutrals go together! Of course, I am a sucker for a beautiful muted colored sweater or tank to layer! When you think of accessory colors, what do you tend to lean towards?

My neutrals in my closet are very different than what I gravitate to for my accessories! I love a fun colored hat, scarf, wrap - I just think it's so fun to add in a nice pop of color, especially if those colors are super bright or with a yarn that has a lot going on - really letting those colors speak for themselves. Let's take a look at our Spring Tonals and our latest collection, Knitflix, to take a look at some fabulous colors to use for accessories.

Colors

When I think of a wrap I always love something nice and oversized - I love being able to wrap it around me on those super cold nights but also transitioning it to a blanket type of situation when traveling! Take a color like Millennial from our Knitflix Collection - how gorgeous would this be worked up in both knit and crochet! It's so fun and bright, perfect to add to any outfit for that pop of color!

Ok now our spring tonals are colors that I literally want in my closet on an everyday rotation. They are so beautiful, soft, and muted. But, I know some people like to steer clear of brighter tones in their closet. Now, how gorgeous would literally anything in this color be worked up? But imagine a nice chunky cabled hat.....drool worthy!

Every once in a while I love to go a little crazy with a color - especially with a yarn that has a lot going on. Casita....now I am obsessed with this color and think it would be so fun as a simple cardigan for spring and chilly summer nights to add over a denim dress or with white jeans. But I would also love this as a blanket scarf, socks, a hat. Actually....give me everything in Casita!
