Last summer I hosted a Make-a-Long with our Summer Tonals and made one of my favorite projects to date - a little shrug style cardigan called the Traveler Shell knit in our Cotton Linen Wool! This lightweight summer cardigan is a joy to knit and wear. With large, angular pockets and a textured, relaxed fit this easy-to-slip-on layer is just what cool summer nights were made for.

Modifications: When I blocked my swatch (one of the pockets), it grew by 35% - 20% more than the Andrea Mowry's 15% noted in the pattern. To compensate, and keep the finished measurements closer to the pattern, I reduced the body length by 20%. Keeping the shoulder and sleeve sizing the same, I wound up with a delightful finished piece!

Yardage included in this kit is calculated with this modification in mind.
