I grew up watching the original Practical Magic movie (late 90s Sandy Bullock is my Queen) and when the announcement for the sequel was released I couldn’t not WAIT. I’ve always loved a spooky, witchy Halloween vibe thanks to movies of this era (looking at you Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown) but Practical Magic always felt more sophisticated and idyllic. I loved Sally’s Botanical Shop and The Aunts, to say nothing of the Phone Tree and The Roof Jump at the end 🥹

So we are counting down to the premiere of Practical Magic 2 this September with a spooky surprise box! Included are the following:

Beautiful and soft

I love your yarn because it is so soft and the colors are gorgeous.

Wool wash

Makes everything soft and lustrous. This was my first time trying the unscented and find the performance equal to the the delicately scented versions. It is my favorite way to care for my handmade items.

Home yarn

This yarn is beautiful and fun to knit with. I am working on the Flock Vest. It is knitting up pretty quickly.

I hate these hooks

I wish I never bought these hooks. There is SO MUCH wrong with them, where do I start??
1) the price!! These are ridiculously expensive, and I may have been able to justify the price if they were good hooks, but there aren’t.
2) the cables! So horrible! And what burns me even more is that I had to spend another $15 + tax & shipping to get swivel cables, when the swivels are what should come with the hooks in the first place. Every time I try to use them, they constantly turn in my hand and force me to readjust at every stitch!
3) hook sizing!! The head of the hook is the proper size, however, the thumb rest is SIGNIFICANTLY larger. So after working about 8-10 stitches, they start getting stuck at the thumb rest, and then they open even more to accommodate the this part which is stretching out my stitches!!

I would give anything to get my $200+ back!! Ugh!
