Anna & Mr. Bates have such an incredible relationship, and their dynamic throughout the show is always so lovely to watch. My favorite moment of theirs is while (spoiler alert) Bates is in prison and Anna is confident they’ll prove him innocent. He asks “do you never doubt, even just for a moment?” And she responds with “no, and I don’t doubt that the sun will rise in the east either.” This loyalty is reciprocated later in the series when the roles are reversed 🙊 and I feel as though I can feel their love through the screen 😭💕

I wanted to create a colorway that felt the same way the Bates’ do as a couple - an unlikely combo that, for some reason, really works. So we have moments of color representing Mr. Bates in tweed browns and charcoal black paired with Anna’s peach and blush tones.
